PERFORMANCES

“BE NOTHING”

Location: Brackmann Park (Lõuna 20, Pärnu)
Description: From task to task, job to job, meeting to meeting. When we stop for a moment amidst all this rushing and take time for ourselves, we realize that being in the moment can make our lives happier. When we sometimes allow ourselves to just be, it sets us free.
Duration: 10 minutes

“ILMALIND”

Location: Pärnu beach park, Elephant area (between Supeluse Street and A.H. Tammsaare Boulevard)
Description: Every culture has its own unique stories and explanations about the origin of life. According to the folklore of our ancestors, the Baltic Finns, the world was born from a bird’s egg. The Estonian, Ingrian, and Karelian world creation songs that tell this story probably originated from a common mythological source. According to this myth, the first things that existed were Sky and the endless primeval waters, above which a bird was searching for a nesting place. Having found a single mound, she layed three eggs on it. A gust of wind rolled the eggs into the sea and they became the sky, earth, sun, moon, and stars.
Duration: 10 minutes

“ADA LOVELACE”

Location: Pärnu Central Library (Akadeemia 3, Pärnu)
Description:
Where will technology be in 100 years?
We doubted that a computer could be a virtual assistant until ChatGPT came along…
that a phone could be a computer until the iPhone came along…
that a computer could replace the typewriter until Microsoft came along…
But one woman had a vision that a machine could think. Her invention was called the Analytical Engine. The year was 1843. She is considered the world’s first programmer. Her name was Ada Lovelace.
Duration: 10 minutes

“FOREST”

Location: Pärnu Central Library (Akadeemia 3, Pärnu)
Description:
I am the forest…
I am a place of peace, poetry, and enchantment.
I am harmony.
I am home to our spirit and soul.
I am silence.
I am noise.
I play music day and night.
The light show “FOREST” highlights the value and importance of forests in human life.
Duration: 10 minutes

“DESIRE”

Location: Pärnu moat (Õhtu street 1a)
Description:
What exactly is it that a person longs for?
What do you devote your time and energy to?
To success and wealth?
To social status?
To what truly inspires you but is not very profitable materially?
These are choices we all have to make, and each of us has to find a balance between our dreams and our passions.
Duration: 10 minutes

“CHOICES”

Location: Pärnu moat (Õhtu street 1a)
Description: Our life consists of endless choices. Every morning, you have the opportunity to look at the world from a new perspective. Do you see it as positive and full of opportunities, or as difficult and negative? External factors do not make your life happy. How you see and perceive your world is mostly up to you.
